Reality

from Reality by Brandon Seibert

about

This song was actually originally inspired by an original painting by the great Carolynn Amy Nield. The painting is pictured in the cover art. I was so honored when she gave it to me. What a gift!

The painting is called "Reality".

I knew that the Spirit of God was behind this prophetic art, so I asked the Lord to give me the same revelation from the Spirit that he put in Carolynn when she painted it. The chorus just flowed out almost immediately.

The first time I played this song in front of people was for the Elevate (Discipleship training school at Antioch Community Church) fall retreat. It was powerful! I got hit hard with the presence and goodness of God. At that point all I had was the chorus. After that experience, I had to finish the song, so I did.

The focus of the song was originally a song about longing for heaven. I later realized that I could step into His throne room at any time. The focus of the song, now, is a longing to dwell in the presence of God. Psalm 27:4. The unseen is the true reality. More real than anything that is seen hear on earth.

When we catch a glimpse from the Father's eyes or a touch from His hands, we are taken into the true reality (true reality is kinda redundant, haha). He is reality. There is nothing more real than God. He is the most real. His tangible presence is real. His throne room is real. The veil has been torn. We can enter into reality.

I hope heaven invades your world as you listen to this song. And may your eyes be open to Reality.

All the money that is made by purchases of this song will go to support a mission trip I am going on this year to East Asia (until I have completed the trip, which is from June 4-25, pray for me!). In total the trip costs are about $3500. So please donate whatever you wish. (purchasing this song is not tax deductible and non refundable).

This song is dedicated to Jesus, Carolynn Nield, and to the Elevate Class of 2011-2012.

Special thanks to Thomas J. Wilson for all the hard work he put into this. You are such an amazing friend!

Thank you

(We will hopefully be releasing a more full band version later in the year)
